About the role

About the role A Creative Graphic Designer is wanted in Colombo to shape brand identities and lead concept development for digital marketing projects. The role is full-time with a negotiable salary and is best suited to a designer who enjoys the messy early stage of a project: research, mood boards, sketching and pitching ideas that have not been done before. Experience required: 3-5 years across identity and digital design. Key responsibilities - Develop brand identity systems from naming support through to full guidelines. - Design UI graphics, icons and illustrative elements for web and app interfaces. - Lead creative concept development for seasonal and product launch campaigns. - Produce simple motion graphics or animated logo stings where required. - Collaborate with copywriters, developers and account managers throughout delivery. - Present and defend creative rationale in client and internal meetings. Required skills - Strong conceptual thinking supported by a distinctive portfolio. - Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma at a professional level. - Understanding of digital marketing funnels and audience behaviour. - Comfortable giving and receiving critique within a team. - Ability to balance originality with brand and business constraints. Preferred qualifications - After Effects or Rive skills for motion graphics is a strong bonus. - Illustration or 3D visualisation ability. - Experience mentoring junior designers.
